Ted Conlin is the captain of station 42.
History[]
Ted and his team responded to a fire at a coffee processing plant. They tagged out Sullivan and Andy, who had come upon the fire while doing hydrant checks. Station 42, under Conlin's guidance, worked on the fire. However, the situation escalated and they had to call station 19 back to help. After a flashover caused an explosion, Conlin went in with members of station 19 to retrieve the members of his team still inside the building. They located and evacuated nine of the ten quickly, but, believing the tenth was still inside, Conlin refused to leave. He then was trapped by falling debris before being informed that the team member he was after was already out and on his way to the hospital. Conlin ordered that no one else enter the building, giving himself up for lost. However, Ripley superseded his command and went in after him, though he refused any assistance. Ripley located Conlin with some assistance from Sullivan and brought out Conlin. They were then able to drown the building and put out the fire. He then agreed to get drinks with Sullivan and Ripley and said the first round would be on him. ("Friendly Fire")
After Ripley was discovered to have been exposed to hydrofluoric acid during the coffee plant fire, Conlin was also tested and came up positive. ("Always Ready")
