Terrence Tillerman is a man who ended up pinned between two cars.
History[]
Terrence, his wife, and his three children had gone to their family's house to celebrate Christmas a bit early. On their way, they ordered some last-minute groceries. Upon arrival, Terrence realized he'd put in their home address accidentally, so he got in his car and drove back to pick them up, not wanting his kids to do without their eggnog. He saw that the delivery driver had left the groceries on the driveway, so he parked his car at the top and got out to retrieve them. While he was doing that, his car rolled forward, pinning him between his car and another car that was in the driveway.
When station 19 arrived, Maya leaned into his car to turn it off and employ the emergency brake to keep it from moving. Ben evaluated his injuries and determined that the second they moved his car, he would bleed out and die. Desperate to save him, Ben asked Beckett to call the new fire chief and ask for authorization to use the PRT as it was his only chance at surivival. While they waited, they encouraged Terrence to call his wife and tell her to come.
When Delilah arrived, Terrence told her all the things he wanted her to tell their children. Then he asked her to sing to him as they prepared to move the car and get him into the PRT. He had her turn around once they started, so she wouldn't have to watch. She continued singing as they freed and moved him. The rest of his family arrived after he was moved. In the PRT, Carina and Ben clamped his aorta, buying them the time he needed to get to the hospital, where he was taken into surgery.
After his surgery, he was stable in the ICU and his family was with him singing carols in his room.
