Toby greeted the ambulance when Derek Shepherd was brought to the Dillard ER. He tried to refuse, saying they already had the patients from the first car accident, but he was forced to take Derek inside, where he passed off Derek's care.
He also tended to Charlie Abbott, putting staples in his scalp to close the laceration there.
