William Lawrence is a man who had a stroke shortly after recovering from COVID.
History[]
William had had COVID, but recovered. A few months later, he had right-sided paralysis and aphasia. James had him rushed to the hospital, where they did a CT to confirm the stroke and find the clot. While he was having the clot removed, his granddaughter, Mary Ann, went into labor and gave birth to her daughter. When he woke from surgery, her learned about his great-granddaughter's birth. Due to the hospital's COVID regulations, he was only able to see her on the tablet, but immediately started telling her the story of her birth and her family, a story he said she'd one day be able to tell herself.
