Zoey Marchand is Maggie and Winston's couples counselor.
History[]
Maggie Pierce and Winston Ndugu came to Zoey when they were having difficulty communicating in their marriage. She asked them each to say one thing they loved about the other. Maggie worried about saying the wrong thing, but Zoey assured her there was no wrong answer. She said Winston was a kind person. Winston said he loved that she was in counseling with him because she was finally admitting they needed help communicating and he appreciated how hard she works. Maggie asked him how that was a bad thing and he wondered how what he said was bad.
Winston talked about the offers Maggie had gotten since the article she wrote. One of the offers was in Chicago. Winston said he'd already moved across the country once for him. And when he tried to change specialities for her, she lost all respect for him. They argued over whether or not she'd actually said that. Maggie was paged for a trauma and had to leave the session early.
Career[]
